We are newcomers to Toronto and we recently moved to a house and would like to recommend our real estate agent Stelios Kentros who made this possible. He is also now our dear friend. We were introduced to Stelios by our mortgage specialist. We contacted him and he agreed to meet us at our home on our convenient time. When he visited us, we had a detailed conversation With Stelios. During this conversation, he understood our needs, asked us the right questions, gave us his honest views and was very practical about the housing market ! Once we began looking around, he was very accommodating to our schedules and my health (I was almost 8 months pregnant when we got started). He always gave us his honest opinion on houses we saw and helped us understand things we were confused about. Finally he helped us find our niche. The perfect house, just like we wanted, in our budget and in an area of our choice. Once we were sure that we wanted to put an offer, he proactively acted on our behalf and negotiated well to get us the best deal. All through this process, he was extremely open and transparent with us. A great agent will work with you at every step in your house buying process, will listen to your needs, advise on putting in an offer and support in acting quickly to close the deal. We are thankful that Stelios acted quickly and we were fortunate to purchase our home. The house was not on market for long. I must mention that he was very patient, quick and extremely helpful. Post the offer, he always gave us multiple options to choose from: right from the lawyers to contacts for furniture and most of all, advise and recommendations on our needs! Stelios is not done just by getting you the offer. He knows the right people for furthering the house process! He has great contacts And most importantly, Stelios is full of integrity and sincerity and hence the great quality shows in the services he offers. For the first time I took the initiative to not just take a friend’s recommendation for a reputable realtor, I took the initiative to interview 3 realtors to decide. During this process I compiled a list of important and relevant questions that pertained to my goals and objectives given my situation. Immediately I felt that Stelios was not only competent but he had a plan and strategic approach on how to best sell my residence. It wasn't a blanket approach, it was customized and tailored to fit my needs and wants. He also answered a very important question when I questioned him on the proposed market value of my home.
